The essential oil has an aroma that is at once familiar and mysterious, balsamic and spicy. Its effects on the lungs make it an excellent support for the respiratory system, where it blends well in a base oil with Basil and Pine essential oils. Oshadhi Frankincense carterii is also well known for its rejuvenating effects. For the skin it can be blended with Rock Rose and Helichrysum essential oils and Rosehip Seed oil to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. As a tonic for good health Frankincense oil blends well with Lemon, Myrrh and Sandalwood essential oils.
